The research is telling us that if we want any hope of action, we need sustained protests that involve at least 3.5% of the population visible.
We cannot do this alone. We need your help both on the streets and in the background supporting protestors in other ways.

@ScientistRebellion
I wish 3.5% were doing practical preparation for the next weather emergency in ways that adapt or mitigate climate chaos, as climate swadeshi, the heart of satyagraha, nonviolence, or an updating of Gandhi's Constructive Programme and Abdul Ghaffar Khan's Khudai Khidmatgar, the world's first nonviolent army.
But then I believe that Solar IS Civil Defense
@ScientistRebellion "Science"... from scientists with very little grasp of how political organising actually works. Learn from experienced organisers, sociologists and historians, not this armchair-analysis-with-some-statistics-tacked-on quasi-science.
@audunmb @ScientistRebellion help me find some near me? In Kansas City?
@ScientistRebellion@rebellion.global Over decades the Russian fascist fossil fuel oligarchy have deeply infiltrated 'green' orgs and political parties. Their preferred actions are meant to be disruptive, sabotage, enrage ordinary people so that instead of engaging people in doing something about climate change, they make sure that nothing happens, peddle ridiculous non-solutions blaming individuals so that they can continue selling their oil, coal and gas. All with the added benefit of being socially divisive.
@ScientistRebellion Wear respies. Make respies mandatory, or you are excluding the over 1/3 of the population with a disability. If you want any hope of people who care for vulnerable people to show up, make respies mandatory and enforce it.
